Supine Breast MRI for Preoperative Surgical Planning and Intraoperative Margin Assessment During Breast-conserving Therapy for Breast Cancer

In the study, we compared tumor size and the relationship to breast landmarks between preoperative supine and prone breast MRI. We assessed performances of intraoperative supine MRI in the Advanced Multimodality Image Guided Operating (AMIGO) Suite in predicting resection margins after breast-conserving therapy by correlation of pathologic margin status with MRI findings.
