We are pleased to announce the Workshop on Robotics, AI, and Imaging for Point of Care Surgical Guidance, to be held virtually as part of the MICCAI conference on October 8, 2023. The workshop is organized by Laura Brattain, Jayender Jagadeesan, and Tina Kapur, and the URL for the workshop is www.ncigt.org/RobsAI.
The workshop aims to bring together researchers, clinicians, and industry leaders to discuss recent advances and challenges in the development and translation of innovative technologies for point of care surgical guidance. We invite original contributions that address the following topics:
- Integration of robotics, AI, and imaging for surgical guidance
- Image-guided navigation and visualization for surgical interventions
- Machine learning and deep learning for therapy guidance and decision support
- Novel sensors and modalities for point of care guidance
- Clinical translation and evaluation of point of care surgical guidance technologies
We welcome both theoretical and practical contributions, as well as papers that report on work in progress or describe novel approaches. All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process by the program committee, and accepted papers will be published in the workshop proceedings as 8-page papers.
We look forward to your submissions and your participation in the workshop.
Best regards,
Laura Brattain, Jayender Jagadeesan, and Tina Kapur
