Figure 2: Three-dimensional rendering of skin surface (pink), capsules (blue), and electrodes (yellow). The notch-like artifact under the Fpz location was observable likely due to the pressure applied during electrode attachment and the magnetic susceptibility effects of the metallic electrodes. The accidental displacement of two capsules from the central electrodes (C3 and C4) could be avoided using an integrated electrode-capsule design (Figure 1C).
